Next Tuesday (8), the last lunar eclipse of 2022 will take place. Unfortunately, here in Brazil, the show will only be fully visible in Acre. In the rest of the northern region, there will be a partial eclipse (one in which only part of the Moon is covered by the umbra). But, for those in any other location who want to catch the event, some live broadcasts are scheduled over the internet.
According to the website Space., the eclipse will begin at 5:10 am (Brasília time) and should end around 1:30 am later. As it is a total lunar eclipse, as our satellite will be completely taken over by the Earth's shadow (which will be between it and the Sun), the event is also known as the "Blood Moon".

Find out which platforms will broadcast the total lunar eclipse
In most states in the northeast, midwest, southeast and south of Brazil, it will be possible to see only the so-called "penumbral eclipse", which occurs when the Moon does not reach the umbra, and the Earth's shadow projected on it is very weak.
Fortunately, some online broadcasts will show it in real time if the weather conditions cooperate.
The Time and Date portal channel on YouTube will start the live at 6 am. According to the description of the video, the broadcast will feature “real-time animations, maps, weather news and more”. There will also be a live broadcast on the National Observatory channel, starting at 5:30 am.
Another platform that will transmit the phenomenon is the Virtual Telescope Project, a service provided by the Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory, headquartered in Rome. Astronomy enthusiasts can catch up on the project's website or on YouTube, starting at 6:30 am.
