Tired of BBB 21? See how to block terms related to the program on social networks
In 2020, Big Brother Brasil reached the mark of the most popular open television program on Twitter, according to Kantar Ibope. However, not all Spaniards like the BBB and, for them, the best solution is to block related terms on social networks.
Twitter offers a function called “Muted Words”, which aims to block unwanted terms from your timeline.
1 - To use the function you must open its settings;
2 - Click on "Privacy and security";
3 - Click on the option “Silenced words”;
4 - Select the add icon in the lower right corner;
5 - Enter the words you want to block, select where you want the words to be silenced and for how long.
Facebook and Instagram do not have a function like Twitter, Mark Zuckerberg's platforms only allow the blocking of words in the entries of his own publications. However, there is an application for Android phones that helps with this functionality.
1 - Open the "Play Store" and search for the "Spoiler Blocker" application;
2 - After installing the application, open it and click on “Go to settings” to open the smartphone settings;
3 - Enter “Installed services”;
4 - Select the "Spoilers Blocker" and activate it;
5 - Go back to the app and click on the “Blockers” option;
6 - Select the add icon in the lower right corner;
7 - Name your list and add the words you want to block;
8 - Go back to the menu and select the option “Apps protected from spoilers”;
9 - Choose the applications where you want the words to be blocked;
10 - Unlike Twitter, the terms will not disappear. Instead, strips will enter stating that the content refers to the requested words.
Important:
For better functionality of the tools, it is necessary to choose words that also allude to the program, for example, “leader test” and “wall”.
