From Bambam to Juliette: Remember all BBB champions

Big Brother Brasil (BBB) turns 20 in 2022, the most successful reality show on Spanish TV. more than 320 former participants to date, it is not strange that we have former BBBs in different areas ranging from dramaturgy, to politics, passing through music and entertainment.

However, most of the former participants who achieved a prolific career after participating in the program, presenter Sabrina Sato and actress Grazi Massafera, were not necessarily the champions of their respective editions.

In a memory exercise, we tried to remember the 21 BBB champions, from Kleber “Bambam”, to Juliette, the ex-BBB most followed on Instagram, passing by Diego “Alemão”, Dhomini and others less famous, who was even a little hard to remember off the top of my head.

the echo of everything

Today, the former dancer makes a living as a fitness influencer, teaching diets and training for hypertrophy.

In the same year, the horse tamer Rodrigo Leonel, then 32 years old, took home the prize of half a million reais. However, unsuccessful investments made the “Cowboy”, as he became known, need to be employed again on farms in the interior of São Paulo to survive.

In 2003, after fighting epic battles against the massage therapist Jean Massumi, Brazil chose André Augusto Ferreira Fontes, Dhomini, the third Big Brother champion. Today, the former parliamentary advisor from Goiás lives in the Chapada dos Veadeiros region and works in multilevel marketing.

the first woman

The following year, a woman finally won Big Brother Brasil. Nanny Gecilda da Silva dos Santos, known as Cida, then only 20 years old, earned R$500. However, mismanagement of money, a series of loans and a financial scam made Cida lose all the money earned at the BBB.

One of the most famous BBB winners was Bahian professor Jean Wyllys. The first prize edition of BRL 1 million was also the first won by a member of the LGBTQIA+ unit. Five years later, Jean entered politics, where he was elected federal deputy for the PSOL in Rio de Janeiro three times.
