The program
Remembering that Big Brother Brasil includes the groups Camarote and Pipoca. That is, the program has, among its participants, a mixture of famous anonymous people. Both names known to the public for being artists or digital influencers are confined to the BBB 22 house, as well as unknown people in search of fame from participating in the program.
If the format is the same, the presenter is not. This is another change from BBB 22 that this year not only new participants arrive, but also a new presenter. Unlike the last editions, which were under the control of Tiago Leifert, the BBB 22 has the presenter Tadeu Schmidt, who until mid-2021 was responsible for the presentation of Fantástico and it is he who will now lead the program, including indicating the eliminated after you vote.
Understand the contract of BBB 22 participants
Globo establishes that, for someone to participate in one of its reality shows (BBB or No Limite, for example), it is necessary to sign a contract that guarantees an employment relationship in the same way as other artists on the station.
In the case of BBB 22 participants, Globo closes a six-month contract for all confined. At the end of this period, it can be renewed or revoked.
The salary is symbolic: a minimum wage per month, plus extras for staying on the program, in addition to accumulating prizes in reality show competitions. Participants are free to close independent sponsorship contracts, that is, they can sell advertisements to social networks and earn more on top of that. They even count some benefits offered by Globo, the health plan, for example.
Globo took full advantage of the success of the last edition, having even produced documentaries, 'A Vida After Tombo', about Karol Conká's participation in the reality show.
Chrome extension helps catch BBB participants
Many people who watch the BBB often complain on social networks that it is difficult to catch a specific brother or sister through the multiple cameras of Globoplay's PPV. Developer Rafael Azevedo also had this problem, so he created an extension for the Chrome browser that uses facial recognition to point out which BBB 22 participant is appearing on a given PPV camera. Who has left BBB 22?
This Tuesday's wall (15) is the fourth since the beginning of the reality show. In the first round of the program, the public had to decide between the departure of Luciano, Naiara Azevedo and Natália. The brother was selected by the viewers and left the most watched house in Brazil with 49,31% of the votes.
On the second wall, the public chose between Rodrigo, Natália and Jessilane – the women being spared again by the spectators, who decided to eliminate Rodrigo with 48,45% of the votes.
In the third week, Naiara Azevedo, Douglas Silva and Arthur Aguiar were nominated for the wall. The sister ended up being eliminated 57,77% of the votes.
The fourth week featured two eliminations. The first was sister Maria, excluded from the reality show after a case of aggression. In the weekly wall, Bárbara received 86,02% in the elimination round against Natália Deodato and Arthur Aguiar and also left the house.
Brunna Gonçalves was the fifth eliminated, 76,18% of the votes. The dispute for public preference was lawyer Gustavo Marsengo, and Olympic athlete Paulo André Camilo.
The digital influencer Larissa Tomásia, who entered the game by decision of the public after the dynamics of the glass house, was the sixth eliminated, the record for rejection of the edition so far, receiving 88,59% in dispute Arthur Aguiar and the singer Linn da Quebrada.
Jade Picon was the seventh eliminated from the BBB 22 84,93% of the votes. The dispute for public preference was actor Arthur Aguiar, facing his fourth wall, and biologist and teacher Jessilane Alves. Participant Vyni was the eighth to leave the program and Laís the ninth – and one of the biggest rejections in the history of the program.
It is worth remembering that the actor and singer Tiago Abravanel left the program in the sixth week when he pressed the withdrawal button, a novelty implemented in this edition of the program.
