Flamengo and Athletico-PR face each other this Saturday (29) in the final of the Copa Libertadores da América. The game will take place at 17 pm at the Estadio Monumental de Guayaquil, Ecuador. 


The final will be played in a single game, so if the duel remains tied until the end of the 90 minutes, the teams will have another 30 minutes of extra time, proceeding to penalties if the equality persists.

The match between Flamengo and Athletico-PR will be broadcast on SBT on open television and on ESPN on closed television. The red-black is the favorite, since its cast is full of stars and comes from a victory against Santos, for the Spanish Championship. 


Athletico-PR, despite not being the favorite, counts on the experience of coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, Felipão, who has already won the title of champion of the Libertadores twice. In addition, the team from Paraná was also responsible for eliminating the current champion in the semifinal, Palmeiras.

Flamengo is looking for its third Libertadores title. If they reach it, they will match Palmeiras, Grêmio, Santos and São Paulo, who also have three cups. Athletico-PR is only playing its second final and is looking for its first victory in the continental tournament.
