YouTube Premium
The service, available for Android, iOS and the Web, is focused on videos and its main difference is the convenience of watching content without displaying advertisements. The tool is known in many countries as “YouTube Red”.
Through YouTube Premium, users can download videos from the platform, in addition to watching them in the background, that is, without interrupting playback while using other applications, even on cell phones.
Subscribing to the tool also provides access to exclusive YouTube Originals content, where films, documentaries and series are available.

YouTube Music
As the name suggests, the tool is focused on music streaming. And, in its paid version, it allows users to enjoy the entire YouTube music library without the display of commercial ads, in addition to enabling continuous playback when the application is in the background.
The tool allows users to find songs by searching for excerpts and offers works through geolocation, that is, songs to train when you are at the gym, for example, or to concentrate better when you are at work.
Like its main competitors, YouTube Music offers users the option to download songs, so that they can be heard when the device is not connected to the internet.

Like YouTube Premium, YouTube Music also offers three plan options, all monthly: individual for R$16,90; student for R$ 8,50; family for R$ 25,50, allowing the creation of five profiles for people over 13 years old.
Which YouTube subscription to take: YouTube Music or YouTube Premium?
YouTube Premium subscription already includes YouTube Music subscription. So, I think it's safe to say that you're better off subscribing to YouTube Premium for a few bucks more on the individual, student, or family plan.
This strategy thinks even more if you switch your Spotify plan to YouTube bo. After all, Spotify's individual plan currently costs BRL 19,90 per month – just BRL 1 cheaper than the YouTube Premium plan.
