Google 3D Animals: step by step to search and see animals in augmented reality

Since 2019, Google has started to display the visualization of animals in 3D in its search and, to the delight of fans of augmented reality animals, the list only grows. There are several 3D animals for you to play with, including dogs, cats, zebras, giraffes, hippos and even a scary shark.

The feature is very simple to use: just search for the animal's name in the Google app and, if it's available, the search engine will give you the option to see the animal in 3D. this, you can project the critter into your home by pressing the button “See in your space”.



Not all devices are compatible with the tool, but if you have a more recent cell phone, it is likely that you will be able to make the most of this Google function.

1. Search for the name of any of the animals listed (see below for a complete list):

Minimum requirements to see animals in Google 3D

The 3D visualization feature is available for smartphones running Android 7.0 (or later) and compatible with ARCore, Google's augmented reality system.



For those who use Apple, the preview works on devices from iOS 11. If you are in doubt if your cell phone is capable of reproducing an animal in 3D, consult the list of supported devices made by Google (in English).
