Beyond Santander: bank manager applies pix scam

Last Monday (21), radio CBN João Pessoa reported the case of an education businesswoman who suffered a BRL 57 blow through Pix. The crime took place in Cabedelo, a city located in Paraíba and was committed by a bank manager who caught the victim and made 18 transfers without the client noticing.

The suspicion that something was wrong started in December 2021, when the businesswoman looked for the bank to make a transfer, as she was not in the habit of using apps to access bank services. It was then that she noticed thousands of reais sent from her account and wanted to clarify the information, but did not get help at first.
