On Facebook, in addition to the traditional profile picture, it is also possible to add a cover image, which appears in the background within the user's page. Like the feature? Know that WhatsApp thinks about taking the cover photo to the messenger, at least on professional profiles.
The information was not made official by the company, but WABetaInfo, a website specializing in information about the beta versions of the application, found the “cover photo” feature in the test version of WhatsApp Business.

“Once the feature is enabled for beta testers, there will be some changes to your ercial profile settings,” explained WABetaInfo. So when choosing the profile picture, the cover image can also be taken directly from the gallery or registered on the spot.

When the image is added, anyone who contacts you in the messenger will see the cover in the background of your profile image. Currently, this background follows the system colors (black or white). For now, there is no information that this mode can also reach some WhatsApp profiles.
It is important to note that the function has not yet been announced by the company and the fact that it is in the beta version does not mean that the feature will be officially launched for all users. As a result, there is currently no release date.
