After 6 years, man removes penis from arm and puts it in the right place; understand

Malcolm MacDonald, had a serious blood infection that caused him to lose his penis in 2010. After the incident, doctors at University College Hospital in London, England, created a new penis for the man using the flesh of his own arm, so that he had sensitivity in the organ.

However, the new 15-centimeter penis had to be grafted onto MacDonald's arm due to lack of oxygen in the blood and the risk of surgery that would have put the member in the right place.

The surgery was supposed to take place in 2015, but due to delays at the hospital and the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic, the man had to spend 6 years with the penis implanted in his arm. “Can you imagine six years of your life a penis dangling from your arm? It was a nightmare, but now it's over”, said the patient in the documentary “The man with a penis in his arm”, made by British TV.

The surgery was funded by the National Health System (NHS) at a cost of £50 (approximately R$ 313).

The operation to place the penis in the correct place took about 9 hours. The medical team placed a kind of pump in the patient's scrotum so that the organ is filled with a saline solution, allowing him to resume his sex life.

“It was a nine-hour operation. The first thing I did was look down and I was like, 'Oh, they did it this time. I feel like a real man again,” she said.
