WhatsApp is often the best way to get in touch with someone. But to talk to a person who is not in your contact list about a specific subject, you must first add the contact to your phone book. This tends to be an issue if the content of the conversation is short, whether it's a sale, or a business conversation. However, what many don't know is that it is possible to contact people without having to add them. See the:
Web WhatsApp
The easiest and fastest way to start a conversation with a number outside your contact list is through WhatsApp Web, the web version of the chat application. For that:
1) Log into your WhatsApp account via the web version
2) Paste the link (https://api.whatsapp./send?phone=XXXXXXXXXXX) in your browser's typing bar and replace the X with the desired phone numbers. The first four digits must be the country code (55 for Brazil) and the region code, the area code (11 for the city of São Paulo, for example). Another simpler link is (https://wa.me/XXXXXXXXXXX), where again the X must be replaced by the country code, area code and cell phone number.
3) After entering the number, press “Enter” on your keyboard
4) Then, a confirmation screen will appear. Click on “Send a message” and you're done.
Application
To start a conversation on Android without saving your phone in contacts, you need to download some third-party app to create quick conversations. The most recommended and tested by the editorial staff of the Technology Refugee it's WhatsApp Direct.
After downloading, open the application. In the first field, you must enter the DDD telephone number. Note that the country code is already selected at the top of the screen, but it can be changed. In the second field, just type your message and click on “Send”. The app will immediately redirect you to a new WhatsApp conversation window. It also allows you to send images by clicking on “Send media”.

Another option for Apple cell phones is to make calls without saving the number of the person you want to talk to. To do this, just type the number in the notepad, save the created note, and then exit it. Then open it again, tap and hold the number for a few moments, and then choose the “WhatsApp” option. this alternative DOES NOT ALLOW send messages, just make calls through the app.
If the person you want to chat with is in the same group, just tap their number and then “Chat”.
