Sucker Punch, developer of Ghost of Tsushima, has announced that it has stopped "actively working" on updates and content for the game.
The latest update patch for the acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima game (check out our game review) was 2.18, or 2.018.000 on PlayStation 5, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut and Legends. In it, the developer confirmed that the update "focuses on Legends item changes, bug fixes and improvements, as well as minor changes to the single-player".
However, after the update, Sucker Punch confirmed that there are no additional patches planned "at this time", and thanked players for the "incredible amount of support and feedback" received.
"While we are not actively working on any additional patches at this time, we will continue to monitor feedback on the unit-run Gotlegends subreddit and messages sent to SuckerPunchProd on Twitter for any bugs or high-priority issues that arise," a statement on the blog said. from PlayStation.
“We want to say a big THANK YOU to the entire unit for the incredible amount of support and feedback we've received since launch. When Legends launched in October 2020, we never expected to have such an active unit for over a year and a half later, and we couldn't be more grateful to everyone who has been with us on this journey!”
The Ghost of Tsushima 2.18 update patch makes minor changes to Legends, some changes to single-player, and unspecified fixes to fix "dialog and cutscenes issues".

In late March, it was announced by John Wick director Chad Stahelski that he was working on adapting the PlayStation exclusive Ghost of Tsushima for the big screen. The film adaptation of the samurai adventure will be written by Takashi Doscher.
