To celebrate Halloween this year, Google brings out the Doodle that is the sequel to “Magic Cat Academy”, another Doodle released four years ago. a ghostly but cute theme, the emotive game has the fearless kitten Momo the central character of an adventure.
In 2016, the premise behind “Magic Cat Academy” was for the player to take control of “feline freshman Momo on her quest to rescue her magic school”. To scare away the ghosts that appeared without a break, it was necessary to reproduce simple symbols indicated on the screen by the finger or the mouse cursor. The levels were getting more and more difficult and Momo – who, curiously, only had five lives – had her score increased as she expelled the invaders from the corridors of her beloved school.
Now, for Halloween 2020, some details have changed: Momo continues five lives and the ghosts still want to haunt her, but this time, she is underwater “new friends, old enemies and scary surprises”. In general, the method for expelling invaders remains the same, but some symbols and tricks have been added.

The new – but not quite new – Doodle is live now and will remain live until the end of October 31st. The game is more fun and easier for those who have a touchscreen or a mouse within reach, but it's still cool if you only have the option of a trackpad.
