Elon Musk leaves tiny house and goes to an 80m² house

In an episode of The Full Send podcast, Elon Musk revealed that, although he does not have a “main residence”, he moved from the minimalist house to a larger one, but which is still “very small”. The residence is between 75 and 85 square meters, three bedrooms, worth US$ 45 thousand and is located in Boca Chica, in the south of Texas.

"My friends come and they can't believe I'm talking about this house," said the billionaire. What's more, Elon Musk said this Texas home was "technically a three-bedroom, but it used to be a two-bedroom" until he converted the garage.

In more information about the house, the businessman said that it is 800 meters from the SpaceX rocket factory in south Texas, and that way, he can walk to the factory.

It's worth noting that Musk has been known to reside in tiny homes, some even costing less than the Tesla he drives. His previous residence was allegedly a small prefab house, also located in Boca Chica.

In June 2021, the billionaire disclosed that he was renting SpaceX's $50 home. It has 35 square meters and can also be taken from one place to another. Still in the podcast conversation, Elon said that the new property “costs less than a Boxabl”, relating to his previous home, which is now being used as a guesthouse for friends.

Elon Musk has been getting rid of several properties that have high values, which continues a promise he made in 2020 to sell the vast majority of his assets.
