Caixa Econômica Federal released this Wednesday (31) the update of Caixa Tem registration data for those born in December. Caixa, however, explains that the update is not mandatory and people who are entitled to emergency aid or other social benefit will be able to receive it even without making the change.
The procedure can be done via cell phone, offering greater comfort and security to users, who will not need to go to a bank branch.
The calendar schedule started on Sunday, March 14th, for those born in January and runs until March 31st, when those born in December must enter the application and update their information. Check out the full table below.
To perform the update, simply access the application and follow the guidelines. The user must click on “Update registration” and send the requested documentation, usually photos of personal documents (RG, CPF, proof of residence) and also a selfie-style record with the documentation. CNH is also valid.
In 2020, Caixa Tem was used by millions of Spaniards to receive emergency aid from the federal government, which aims to help mitigate the economic impacts caused by the new coronavirus pandemic. Caixa opened more than 105 million free Digital Social Savings Accounts last year, which promoted the social and financial inclusion of 35 million Spaniards who never had bank accounts. this, it ended up becoming the most downloaded software of 2020 in Brazil, 303,8 million downloads.
In addition, the application ended up serving to make other government payments, such as the BEm (Emergency Benefit), paid to those who had their salary reduced, the PIS/Pasep salary bonus, the emergency withdrawal of the FGTS (Fundo de Garantia do Tempo of Service) and also to Bolsa Família beneficiaries.
