The success of the title “Marvel's Spider-Man”, released in September 2018, brought high expectations to fans regarding the sequel to the game. Despite the concerns of some people, the studio Imsomniac Games guarantees that “Marvel's Spider-Man 2” will still be released next year.
The developer's reaffirmation came after a few posts on Twitter. After Imsomniac shared a GIF of the PC release of "Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales", some users questioned the lack of news, images or trailers about "Marvel's Spider-Man 2". However, the developer tried to calm the fans and explained the progress of the game's production.

So far, one of the few announcements that “Marvel's Spider-Man 2” has received was during last year's PlayStation Showcase, a reveal trailer. Another detail is that actor Tony Todd will perform the motion captures for the character Venom, who will be one of the villains in the game.

“Marvel's Spider-Man 2” will follow the journeys of Peter Parker and Miles Morales in video games and will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5. In this future story, the heroes will have to join forces to face great villains from Spider-Man's gallery – in addition to Venom , it has been confirmed that Kraven the Hunter will make an appearance in the game. According to the developers, this adventure will be "darker" than the previous one.
In 2018, “Marvel's Spider-Man” was a huge hit in the gaming industry and recently arrived in PC version. The title Miles Morales should be available on the platform soon, support for Steam.
