“Spider-Man: No Return Home” was not only an undeniable box office success, but a milestone for the Marvel Cinematographic Universe (MCU) for bringing together three generations of Spider-Man on screen. On the other hand, the joint participation of Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire ignited a movement in favor of one of the actors, Garfield, who was the only one who did not have his trilogy under the uniform of Teioso pleta.
The fact stirred the hearts of fans and even those who didn't even like the actor so much as the hero started to think it was fair that he won one last sequel. After that, the hashtag #MakeTASM3 (Make 'The Amazing Spider-Man 3') trended on Twitter and stayed there for a long time. Now, for the joy – or not – of the fans, Sony decided to respond to the request in a post that promoted the Digital HD version of “Spider-Man: No Return Home”, however, the answer was not exactly what many expected.

Andrew Garfield played Spider-Man in “The Amazing Spider-Man” (2012) and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2 – The Menace of Electro” (2014), however, the weak repercussion of the second film and the intention of Marvel rebooting the character for the MCU canceled Sony's plans at the time, which was to have at least two more sequels to the actor.
Garfield himself has already shown an interest in returning to give an end to Spider-Man in his universe or until that point is developed from the MCU - in a fight against Venom, for example. Understand more here. Holland also mentioned on another occasion the desire to see his colleague return to the red uniform.
"I would love to see The Amazing Spider-Man 3. I think it was so wonderful that Andrew was able to reconcile the character and the studio, you know, to win back the general public," said the actor.
