Anime fans, get ready: the live-action adaptation of the classic Yu Yu Hakusho is being developed by Netflix, and the first image of protagonist Yusuke Urameshi has been released.
The IGN portal was responsible for releasing the first image of the anime adaptation (see below) that was a fever in Brazil in the 1990s and is still very popular among otakus in Brazil (and in other parts of the world, of course). Yusuke Urameshi will be played by Takumi Kitamura, known for participating in another live-action version of a well-known anime, Tokyo Revengers.

At 14, he lives getting into fights, but ends up dying while saving a child in an accident. Thus, he receives a second chance at life, but needs to work as a spiritual detective, guided by the reaper spirit Botan.
Botan, a woman, tells him that no one expected the delinquent to die in an act of kindness, so there is no place in heaven or hell for him. By reliving and overcoming various tests, Yusuke is involved in a mystery that enters the worlds of humans, demons and spirits.

"The original work is a universal and unique masterpiece and one of the reasons Japan is so proud of its strong anime and manga culture," actor Kitamura told IGN.
