Marvel Studios dedicated, via Twitter, the 3rd episode of “Cavaleiro da Lua” – which arrived on Disney+ on Wednesday (13) – to Gaspard Ulliel, actor who lived the villainous Man of Midnight in the series, but who unfortunately he passed away before the show premiered. Ulliel died in January of this year after suffering a skiing accident and having a head injury.

The 37-year-old French actor was announced as the Marvel character in July 2021. “Moon Knight” premiered in March of this year and features Marc Spector, who in the comics is an ex-military man who becomes a mercenary. His life ends up changing completely after a mission in Egypt, in which he receives a visit from the god Khonshu who transforms him into the Knight of the Moon, seen as an avatar of the Egyptian deity.
The series is the debut of actor Oscar Isaac in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), as he lives the main character in the plot. Recently, Isaac even revealed that he received tips from an important veteran actor from the Marvel house: Robert Downey Jr., Iron Man / Tony Stark.
“I spoke a lot to Robert Downey about the MCU, how he felt about being a part of it, reacting to it, being on set… it helped me a lot,” he revealed to IGN.
