The Pacificador's only solo comic book series joined DC Universe Infinite, the publisher's comic streaming service.
The series is set for four issues from 1987, written by Paul Kupperberg and illustrated by Todd Smith, and it is the only solo series of the Peacemaker, a hero who gained prominence after the release of the film “The Suicide Squad”, by Warner Bros. , and the HBO Max TV series “Peacemaker”, where the hero is played by John Cena.
In the series, Christopher Smith, the Peacemaker, fights against a criminal organization led by the villainous Dr. Tzin-Tzin, prevented the overthrow of the Soviet Union and blew up a multitude of terrorists. This characterization of the Peacemaker is different from the earlier portrayal by Charleston ICS, the company that created the character in 1966.
But not quite: the general characterization of an overpatriotic diplomat who loves the concept of peace so much that he is capable of using lethal force to achieve it remained the same, but the Peacemaker's state of mind became more burdened and tumultuous, including hallucinations of his father, a Nazi concentration camp wanderer who committed suicide when Christopher was still a child.

The Peacemaker has remained in minor roles since the 1987 comic book series, never again having a solo series in DC ics. Currently, the character has a major role in the new Suicide Squad comic book series, while he continues to be successful as John Cena in "Peacemaker".
For now, DC Universe Infinite, which arrived in the United States in 2021, is not yet available in Brazil and still has no date to arrive here.
