    The 2nd season of “A Roda do Tempo” has not even arrived yet, but Prime Video has already announced the production of a 3rd season of the fantasy series, a successful original production of Amazon streaming.


    During the panel for The Wheel of Time: Origins, at San Diego ic-Con 2022, Prime Video announced that its series “The Wheel of Time” will win a 3rd season, even before the premiere of the second. The series is based on the bestselling book series by Robert Jordan.

    “The Wheel of Time” arrived exclusively on Prime Video on November 19, 2021, the co-production between Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television. In turn, the 2nd season has not yet premiered, but now we already know that a third is also on the way.

    The series was adapted by executive producer and showrunner Rafe Judkins, with executive producers Larry Mondragon, Rick Selvage, Ted Field, Mike Weber, Darren Lemke and Marigo Kehoe. Rosamund Pike is a producer and Harriet McDougal and Brandon Sanderson are consulting producers.

    The series cast includes Daniel Henney, Zoë Robins, Madeleine Madden, Josha Stradowski, and Marcus Rutherford, who play Lan Mandragoran, Nynaeve al'Meara, Egwene al'Vere, Rand al'Thor, and Perrin Aybara, respectively.


    Season 1 of “The Wheel of Time” is available in its entirety on Amazon Prime Video. Season 2 of the series has yet to have a confirmed premiere date.
