Occasionally, a publication on social networks inodes, and most of the time, it can come from the same user. But what to do if the profile belongs to a colleague or family member and using the “block” feature is out of the question? Instagram – like Facebook – has a tool that allows you to silence the account, without unfollowing or blocking the person.
The feature works as a way to hide all the content that the person posts, so you continue to access their profile and they yours, but without encountering the publications in the feed.
And you can rest assured about causing 'climate', because the profile doesn't know that you've silenced it.

o mute someone on Instagram?
1. Open the profile of the person you want to silence;
2. Then tap the down arrow located next to the “Following” button. Some suggested actions will appear, click on “Silence”;
3. Define which type of posts you want to mute: “Posts” or “Stories” (or both). Activate the selector switch and return to your page.
