“A Quiet Place 3” is confirmed and gets a premiere date; check out

    The Via event that took place on Tuesday (15) moved fans of several Paramount productions a lot. After announcing the arrival of “Star Trek 4”, “Sonic 3” and the second season of “Halo”, the company announced that “A Quiet Place” will be a trilogy and that the third film is already in development, scheduled for release in 2025 (no exact date).

    According to information from Collider, the announcement was made by the director, screenwriter and actor of the two previous films, John Krasinski. Another previously announced spin-off production was also mentioned, still without many details of the plot, only the release date was disclosed: September 22, 2023. The spin-off will be written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (“Pig”) and will take place I enter the silent universe of the franchise.

    “A Quiet Place” was released in 2018, winning “A Quiet Place: Part 2” in 2020, which achieved a relatively high success for Paramount considering the low theaters due to Covid-19. The feature grossed US$ 297,4 million worldwide, the first sequel totaled US$ 340 million.

    The plot of “A Quiet Place” follows a family struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic environment caused by an alien invasion. The creatures cannot see and rely only on their sense of hearing, which forces survivors to adopt absolute silence.



    It remains to be seen whether the third sequel will bring back the original cast, which includes Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds and Cillian Murphy. No information on whether the film will hit theaters or land straight on Paramount+ has also not been released.
