“The Boys”: Amazon presents images of two new Supers; check out

The Prime Video series “The Boys” is in production for its 4th season and, as usual, new characters are introduced. Now, to build even more anticipation for the new season to come, Amazon has released images of its new Supers – the super-powered characters in “The Boys”.

Two new Supers that will arrive in the universe of “The Boys” in the 4th season were shown on the social networks of Prime Video, using their costumes from the series' heroines, designed by Laura Jean Shannon: Sister Sage, lived by Susan Heyward; and Firecracker, played by Valorie Curry.

o Much of the Supers from the Prime Video series, both will be introduced o new additions to Vought's group of "heroes" known as "The Seven". Thus, it is likely that the two are antagonists to the main group of the series, which is usually opposed to Vought and the Seven.

Although the addition of Sister Sage and Firecracker follows the series' trend of introducing new characters each season, unlike Soldier Boy and Tempesta, the two do not come from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's comics, and details about the characters have been kept confidential for now. However, according to Eric Kripke (the showrunner of the series), the costumes of the two contain hints about their powers.

"The Boys" social media also provided some hints regarding the new Supers. “Meet Sage. She is already a thousand steps ahead of you. And let's just say Firecracker has a short temper," said The Boys' official English Twitter account.

Despite likely bringing trouble to the group led by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), it's possible that Sister Sage and Firecracker are the least of the problems they must face in Season 4. It's just that Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), the son of Captain Homeland, appeared to embrace his darker side at the end of Season 3.

In the final scene of the episode that marked the end of the 3rd season, Ryan, along with a good part of the audience, seem to enjoy seeing Captain Homeland burning a man who attacked him during the campaign of the candidate for Vice President, Victoria Neuman, which is about of another character that the group needs to watch out for.

"I think we should all be scared, because if he becomes another Homeland, that's obviously really bad for the planet," Kripke explained of Ryan in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “But he's still Becca's son and there's still a chance Butcher can pull him into the light. So I think, if anything, we're just hinting at the danger of what would happen if Butcher lost this fight.”

Jeffrey Dean Morgan will also be joining the series in Season 4, but it's still unclear whether his character will be friend or foe to The Boys.

The 4th season of “The Boys” does not yet have a release date. Meanwhile, the first three seasons of the series are available on Prime Video.
