In fact, the use of the tool has been widespread due to the social distance arising from the coronavirus pandemic, a factor that has aroused people's curiosity in knowing how to create a QR code.
The QR Code — derived from “Quick Response Code” (“Quick Response Code”, translated into Portuguese) — is a kind of evolution of the barcode. It is a visual code, in a 2D graphic, which stores data and facilitates access when “read” by digital devices.
In some bus stations, for example, the turnstile is replaced by a QR Code reader, which identifies the pass code and allows the individual to access it. In other cases, the code can take the person to a web page without having to type the address bar. The premise is simple: practicality.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many people had to adapt their businesses or tasks – which were now carried out remotely. And the QR Code grew in the face of this scenario to eliminate physical points: the tool facilitates online sales, shares Wi-Fi access, and directs users to websites without the need for physical contact for the process.

o create QR Code by Google Chrome
By mobile devices (both Android and iOS), the task becomes simpler. Just open the browser, access the page you want to share and access the browser's three-dot menu. Once this is done, click on “share” and choose the “QR Code” option. By clicking on “Download”, the code will be downloaded in photo format and can be shared.
On computers and macOS, you will need to enable QR Code sharing. To do so, type “chrome://flags” in the address bar and press “Enter”.
Type "QR Code" in the search field and choose the "Enable" option for the only feature that appears on the screen. Restart your browser to enable the tool.
Once this is done, enter the web page to be shared and click on the address bar. The QR Code symbol will be displayed next to the favorites icon. Click on it and download the generated code.

On your cell phone, go to the Play Store or App Store and download the free QRbot app. After opening the app, go to the “Create” tab and choose the element to be shared — the options involve texts, websites, contacts, Wi-Fi access, GPS location, calendar events, emails, SMS and apps.
After detailing the data to be shared, proceed to generate the QR Code. In “PNG”, located in the upper right corner, several ways of sharing are available.
