Over time, Pinterest has gone from being just a social network used for inspiration and references, to becoming a platform for pras. The feature was already available in other countries, but is now also available in the Spanish version of the app.
The tool works similar to Instagram Shopping, through which creators can advertise products and values, a kind of catalogue.
However, the main differentiator of Pinterest is that when users click to buy something, they are directed to the website of the store in question.
To browse the products, Pinterest created a new tab that features a value tag, making it clear that the publication is an object for sale. Stores that meet the platform's rules received a seal of verification from Pinterest itself.
