One of the coolest things about WhatsApp is the ability to customize your conversations to highlight words or entire phrases. In the messenger, you can, for example, write in bold (so), italics (like this) or even crossed out (like this) in your messages exchanged by the application.
And if you've searched for - and haven't found - the buttons to activate these features, don't worry: they don't exist! To use these formatting options, it is necessary to use a kind of code, similar to HTML but, much simpler.

put bold on WhatsApp
To send messages in bold on WhatsApp, just put the desired words between asterisks. For example: to write Look Digital, it is necessary to write Olhar * Digital *.
put italics on WhatsApp
Similarly, to make part of the text of your message italicized, simply enclose the desired part in Underline signs ( _ ). For example: to write Technology Refugee, you need to write, in WhatsApp, _Olhar_ Digital.
WhatsApp: writing crossed out text
The application even allows you to “cross out” words, so that they appear with a dash on top. To do this, the procedure is almost the same, but uses the tilde (~). Thus, to write Olhar Analógico Digital, it would be enough to write Olhar ~Analógico~ Digital.
It is still possible to mix all of the above formatting styles in a single message. So, if you wanted to write Analog Look Digital, for example, it would be enough to write on WhatsApp _Olhar_ ~ Analógico ~ * Digital *.
The only care to be taken, the change, is to take into account that these symbols will now be interpreted by the application or formatting codes. So, if you used them regularly to connect with your friends, they might end up having unwanted effects on your messages.
Bonus: writing words only emojis
To make conversations even more fun on WhatsApp, you can use apps that turn words into emojis. does it work? It's simple: you type a word or phrase, choose which emojis you want to use, and the text is converted to them. It goes more or less like this:
The app writes each letter of the word the selected emojis! You can write full messages to it. The WAPunch app is available on the Android Play Store. When installing it, just open and select the “Text to Emoji” option to use the feature.
