The end of year festivities are coming and in times of pandemic and social isolation, not everyone will be able to be close to family and friends. At these times, apps or WhatsApp help to overcome the distance with a message of affection. And a Christmas sticker helps to create the right mood, doesn't it?
But if you don't have any Santa Claus or other Christmas symbols, don't worry. O Technology Refugee prepared this step by step for you to find the best packages from the Sticker.ly app, one of the best in its category.
First, go to the App Store, if you use an iPhone, or the Play Store, if your smartphone is Android, and download Sticker.ly. After installation, open the app and, on the home screen, choose whether to log in using a Facebook account, Google account or use the app without an account by tapping 'Skip' at the top right.
Navigating the Sticker.ly interface, you will see several sticker packs right away. To search for a specific topic, use the bar located below the tabs at the top of the screen. Type “natal” (without quotes) and tap the magnifying glass to search.
A list full of Christmas options will be presented to you. Just below the description of each item, you can see the name of who created the package and how many stickers it contains. When you find one that interests you, just touch it to proceed.
The next screen shows the details of the package and you can check all the stickers that are in it. If you want, take a look to see if the content really matters and, if everything is right, just tap on 'Add to WhatsApp', the green button located at the bottom.
A message will appear asking if you want to add the package. To proceed, tap 'Add'.
When finished, you will go to the confirmation screen. If you want, you can share the pack you've just downloaded with friends through WhatsApp itself or through Instagram, for example. It is also possible to copy the link in the blue button and send it in the way you see fit, but it is worth remembering that it will only be possible to download this and other packages using Sticker.ly itself.
