The deadline for declaring the Income Tax starts counting on the 7th of March, next Monday, and ends on the 29th of April. With that in mind, we have prepared a guide to download the program for computers and also the IR application for mobile devices.
It is worth noting that the 2022 version of the software will be released by the Federal Revenue only on March 7, however, the steps will be basically the same.
Download the income tax declaration program
Different versions of the program are available on the Federal Revenue page. Most likely the one you will need is the Windows compatible one. However, there are also versions for Linux and macOS, for example.
To download the program for PC or Mac, just follow the steps below:
Step 01: access the Federal Revenue page;
Step 02: click on 'My Income Tax';
Step 03: then, access 'Download the program';
Step 04: at the end, choose the version that corresponds to your computer's operating system.
If you prefer, the RF portal also allows you to make the declaration through the browser (e-CAC portal) or mobile devices (iOS and Android);
Download the app for Android and iOS
By cell phone, it is possible to download the income tax declaration application on devices that run Android or iOS. To do this, just search for the term 'My Income Tax' on Google Play or the App Store.
Ready! Now you know how to download the Income Tax declaration program and application.

One of the novelties of the IR declaration in 2022 is that all programs and applications will work together. In practice, this means that you can start your declaration through the mobile app and finish the process through the puter, for example.
Finally, one more tip is: those who deliver the statement in the first few days receive the refund (if entitled) in the first batches, so it's a good idea to anticipate!
